Fundraising

As we are a non-profit making organisation, we rely on fundraising to maintain and repair our specialist equipment. Our Fundraising Co-ordinator is Hollie Jones, and the Fundraising Committee is lead by Kerry Hill.

We have a Fundraising Committee comprised of both parents and coaches, who work year round to secure funding for the club and run fundraising events such as the Annual Awards Evening, In House Competition and Christmas Display. If you want to support the club by being a member of the fundraising committee, please pass on your email address to Hollie or Kerry.

In House Competition 2018

Thank you to all who helped the fundraising efforts at the In House Competition, especially to Kerry, Laura, Sue, Polly, Mary, Charlotte and Megan who ran the cake sale, sold raffle tickets, manned the door etc during the day.

Sponsored Skill- Cartwheel to the Commonwealth Games

On Saturday 7th April, we held a sponsored skill event- 'Cartwheel to the Commonwealth Games'. As a club, we aimed to do 10,333 cartwheels in 5 hours (10,333 is 1 cartwheel for each mile between our gym and the Gold Coast, Australia, where the Commonwealth Games were held). We ended up doing more than double this amount! A huge thank you goes to all the gymnasts who took part, parents and coaches who gave up their time to count the cartwheels and to all the friends and family who sponsored the gymnasts for their participation. Please make sure sponsor money is returned to the gym as soon as possible.
