FAQs
Do you have waiting lists?
Some of our classes have spaces available, but most have waiting lists. We invite children to start on Weeks 1 and 7 of each term. Use the Join Us page to add your child to the waiting list.
How are fees paid?
Fees are paid on a monthly basis, preferably by BACS. There is a small affiliation fee to WFGS and West Midlands Gymnastics each year, as well as British Gymnastics Membership that is required. These fees are due by October 1st each year.

What should my child wear to gymnastics?
Comfy clothing that isn't too baggy. Leotards, t-shirts, shorts and leggings area all ideal. Please make sure that clothing doesn't have any zips/buckles on as these will scratch the equipment. We have kit available to purchase at the gym, or you can purchase leotards elsewhere. Hair should be tied back for all sessions, and no jewellery should be worn. If ears are newly pierced, they should be covered with plasters or tape (we do not provide this).

What does my child need to bring?
Please ensure your child brings a drink, handguards and chalk for bars, and suitable clothes and shoes to put on after the session.

What will my child do at gymnastics?
Our recreational classes are structured so that the class warms up together, then splits into smaller groups with the class. Each group goes on all 4 apparatus (vault, bars, beam and floor) each session, and work towards skills on the British Gymnastics Core Proficiency Badges, NATGAP awards and our own club proficiency awards. In the September- December term, we work towards our annual display.
